Create a liturgy for the day with OUR DAILY RITUALS, with prompts such as “How will we celebrate the firsts moments of our day?” and “How I can I build a sense of community in the home when each child is studying different things?”

Appeal to your children's five senses in your home with THE FIVE SENSES - the building blocks of their intellect. What is the value of aesthetics as part of an education? What should they hear, smell, touch in our homes? What little space can we work towards bringing beauty to?

GOOD QUESTIONS JOURNAL: One of the skills we want our children to develop is the habit of asking good questions about the new things they encounter or even items in their everyday lives (It’s often the things we walk by everyday that we become numb to actually seeing!).

Make sure your printer is set to “two-sided”. Then staple and go!

This is a great family activity because you can be your three-year old’s “secretary” and record his/her own words (as they are said...don’t correct anything, because this is a precious developmental snapshot of who they are at that age). You can use the handwriting spaces to write a few key words in highlighter for them to trace. The older children are, the more detail they can go into and the more they can do by themselves.
